Computer models and creative modeling in teaching
CCTD is partnering with It-vest on a project to offer a course for high school teachers in computer modeling, supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
The aim of the course is to equip teachers and educators from all high schools in the country with the skills to enhance students' understanding and use of computer models in their subjects. Educators will develop and test targeted teaching sequences involving computer models, allowing students to get hands-on experience with the mechanics of computer modeling.
A central focus of the course is on didactics and student activities that actively involve students in the creative process of using, modifying, and experimenting with computer models.
